| The path in life is narrow. We each have our own path that intersects and parralels other paths. That does not mean that we are alone, it means we each need to find our own perspectives of God. God is on the horizon, but each of us see that horizon from different viewpoints. I might see God over the trees while you might see God behind a mountain or beyond a sea. As natures face has beauty and character, our lives have pain and character that God turns into beauty through our perspective of Him. Much like the sun falling behind a barren cliff becomes a sun breathing color across the cliff and into its shadow, eventually cleansing the valley of the dull colors of the day and bringing forth the depth of the evening. | | |
| I wish we could live like the Celtic Christian Church. | | |
| So, recently I have gotten fed up with Christians of today. I have found them to argue more than to love. I have found them to rather want their own way. Though as someone once said, if God were a genie He would be a pretty crappy genie. We as Christians tend to have this idea that God is her efor our benifit which is why we will see church workers who should be humbling themselves before God and using there money in a way that will strengthen the church but instead are buying brand new cars constantly, wearing expensive suits, and finding a need to relax between vacations to exotic, foriegn locations. How did we get this way? Where did we go wrong in our path to include a complete selfishness amongst our beliefs? How are we honoring God in this? We do not know. We do not care We do not respond. Where is our commitment? | | |
